The Sport 1 car top carriers features an aerodynamic wedge shape which is lower in front to help cut the wind. With a 13 cubic feet capacity, the Sport 1 holds about as much gear as a medium to small car trunk. Unfolded, it measures 14 inches high in front, 18 inches in back, 34 inches wide and 38 inches long. This carrier is designed for most smaller cars equipped with or without a luggage rack. The ZipRight zipper system is a urethane coated zipper located IN the flap, not under the flap. Unlike all other car top carriers, ZipRight zipper systems does not catch water under the flap. Water blown up under the flap while driving is repelled to help keep your luggage or cargo dry. Every Sport 1 car top carrier includes four sets of StrapRight straps which are easy to use on vehicles with or without a luggage rack. Simply loop the strap around your raised luggage bar or, in the case no luggage rack extsts, attach the two ends together and strap through your car and over the top carrie This carrier is made of thick dual layer HydroTuff material that is UV resistant on the outside, waterproof vinyl on the inside.
