Truck bed tents on this site are from two different manufacturers. These two manufacturers' truck bed tents setup similarly and are somewhat similar in appearance, other than color(s).
Both of these truck bed tents attach entirely to the truck bed, with the only contact to the ground being in the optionally erected "porch" awning poles & stakeouts. This type of mounting assists these tents to be highly wind resistant, more so than ground type tents. Example: We tried camping in a traditional ground tent on South Padre Island, in the rough unkept lower part only accessible by 4x4 vehicles. The wind & blowing beach sand, along with stakeouts in soft sand, proved to be undesireable. I got a Sportz truck bed tent & those problems were solved. We had some great times fishing, playing in the Gulf of Mexico waters & beach combing on South Padre Island from then on!
Correct fitting truck bed tents on your particular pickup truck is very important, so we have included a page to help called "Vehicle Tent, Air Mattress Sizing". Simply find your vehicle in the list for the particular tent (or air mattress) you're interested in & click on that particular listing. Note: CampRight pickup bed tents are listed according to truck bed type and size. Please know or measure to find out this info before ordering!
