Setup pictures & helpful instructions to aid in first time setup of a Camp Right Truck Tent

Perfect for picnics, camping & backpacking. It also makes a great extra burner for garden or backyard cookouts, or serves in case of power outage or other emergencies. This priced right very portable one burner stove saves storage/transport space and provides all the heat of a gas home range if needed.

Step 1

Spread out the tent in the truck bed with the floor side down and the door facing the tailgate as pictured.

Step 2

Organize the sides/top of the tent with the very center of the tent top in the very center of the truck bed

Extend and insert the poles through the long pole loops with the respective color coded poles in the proper color coded position (color coding on the loops), with the two end poles inserted before the two poles that form an X across from one corner of the truck bed to the other as pictured

Next, hook the bungee style tie downs to the underside of the truck bed with the attached hooks as pictured. It may be a little better if this step is done one corner at a time on first one front corner of the truck bed then the rear corner on the other side, in a crisscross fashion if you will. Or you can hook the two front bungee hooks then the two raer bungee hooks. The final objective at this point is to make sure the X formed by the two poles from one corner of the truck bed to the other is centered in the bed of the truck before proceeding.

Step 5

Now comes the pole erection with the two poles forming the X first and the two end poles next. Again, color coded poles and color coded semi closed pole end loops simplify this step. Simply place each pole end in the respective color coded semi closed loop found at the upper corners of the truck bed portion of the tent, while lifting upward on each pole as you make the final insertion of each pole end into that pole end's semi closed color coded loop

Step 6

Spread the rainfly over the erected tent and secure with tie downs as pictured. This can be treated as an optional step but is normally a very desirable step.

Completely Optional Steps 7 - 8

A doorway awning w/poles comes with every Camp Right truck tent but erection is very simple. A rear window boot is also attached but every truck is somewhat different. For exact attachment procedures, see your tent's owner's manual or instructions.
